Harmless Exercise?

I teach WholyFit instead to highschoolers for their PE at Ventura County Christian School as a substitute for  yoga which is sometimes taught in schools. Many parents have expressed concern about yoga in schools.

With my own eyes I read an article back in the 80’s written by the NEA (National Education Association) that talked about how children of Christian parents needed to be “re-educated.” I wish I could find that article now. The NEA was very militant back then. The NEA is more subtle now, but I personally assume the goals are the same and highly influenced by progressive education as preached by John Dewey. The thing is… the government is not responsible before Jesus for our children for a lifetime – parents are!  It is the parents’ job to instill a Biblical worldview into their own children.

“[Statist schools in Soviet Russia are] the marvelous development of progressive educational ideas and practices under the fostering care of the Bolshevist government … the required collective and cooperative mentality. The great task of the school is to counteract and transform those domestic and neighborhood tendencies … the influence of home and Church.”  ~John Dewey (Dec. 5, 1928).

The WholyFit Solution

You don’t have to take your kids out of public school and homeschool them to make a difference. Simply speak out and express the fact that yoga is against your religion and do not allow your children to participate. Parents make a bigger difference than you think.

Get the word out about WholyFit Gentle Body Power as an alternative to yoga. Please especially pass this on to homeschoolers you know. I urge you mothers to get certified in WholyFit and offer classes at your childrens’ schools. You can use the Silver online training program to satisfy your science requirements! It has lots of anatomy that is FUN. That’s what I did with my children. Now that they are grown I teach WholyFit PE classes to Highschoolers as a way to connect with the kids and have fun at the same time.
