Wide Angle (Layer 3)

Wide Angle is the description of what the legs are doing: stretching at a wide angle, performing splitz on the coronal plane. This ballet exercise, taught in the Multi-level Armor DVD is a “hip opener’ shown in the advanced version (Layer 4) with full sacral nutation and outward rotation of the hips. This exercise can be modified to suit the participant.
- Stretches the adductors
- Strengthens abductors and leg extensors
- Builds strong arches.
