WHAT DO YOU CARE ABOUT?

What are some of the needs you think are important for WholyFit to care about?

Prayer? Loneliness? The unsaved? Depression? Teaching the Gospel? Evangelism?

In a ministry there will be lots of different ideas on what is important because everyone emphasizes different things. That’s not necessarily bad but only Jesus can care about everything and do something about everything. The question I’m asking is, “What do YOU care about?” The object of this blog is to help you become aware of what MOVES you to the extent that you DO something about it.

What moves you to DO?

How did God design you?

CARING IS DOING

My goal is that every instructor would be mobilized by God to do something about what they care about. We need to choose to care. When you see a need, volunteer to help out. Don’t expect someone else to do it. You see the need and care about it in the first place because God is calling YOU. Please let me know what you care about. Email me. holyfitbook@gmail.com Put “What I care about” in the subject line. You will be contacted.

CARING FOR PEOPLE

Nehemiah was wealthy and comfortable, but he chose to humble himself by caring. He cared so much that he wept and fasted before the Lord.

“The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire. So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven. Nehemiah 1:2b-4

SEE THE FACES

We need more coaches (Formerly called “Directors”) for one on one encouragement. Since we are all spread all over the place, we need to be creative in building one to one friendships. WholyFit is not  a group, not a multitude. See the individual faces. WholyFit is made up of individuals with problems, struggles and lots of needs. First things first: We must first care about each other as individuals.  If we cannot care for each other we will never be able to care for the lost in the world. If offering friendship and support moves you please volunteer to be a coach. You do not need to have any special skills. You do not need to be a spiritual giant. All you need is to care about people as individuals. Minister beyond your ability and resources and then you will know it’s God and not you.

I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:4-9
